Would you like your students to read up on current news topics?
Do you discuss various topics in class?
Teen Tribune (ages 13 – 18) and Tween Tribune (ages 9-12) are two online news stories websites that will interest students and invite them to comment (with teacher moderation). They are easily customizable, follow COPPA (FOIP in the U.S.) and there is a Faculty Lounge to share ideas and lesson plans with teachers from around the world. Each weekday, stories are presented from reputable news organizations, such as the Associated Press, and local newspapers and TV stations.
